Broken Rules and Other Stories

Thanks to everyone who’s supported Broken Rules and Other Stories this year. Whether you read the collection, for work or pleasure or both, or it’s on your to-read list, or if you simply visited this website, it represents a donation of time, one of our most precious resources, and I appreciate it.

Broken Rules and Other Stories.
Transit Lounge, September 2020.

There’s more info on the book at the Transit Lounge website. While you’re there, why not browse through the other titles on their list, including those lined up for release in 2021.

You can buy Broken Rules from Readings and many other bookstores in Australia. Most will post the book overseas. If your favourite bookstore doesn’t stock it, ask if they’ll order it in for you. The same goes for your local library. Libraries are more than happy to respond to requests for books not already on their shelves.

One of the best ways to support writers is to read their work. And in the process, publishers, booksellers, and libraries will also be nourished. This is all vitally important, particularly so in our troubled world. So however and wherever you prefer to read, and whatever books are currently by your side or in your pile, happy reading. Peace and love for 2021.

  1. That’s a good blog post, Barry. Maybe we could adapt some of the ideas for an EST post sometime on our site.

Thanks everyone for your new year’s wishes. We did indeed have a successful 2020 at Elwood Writers, and here’s to 2021 – in writing and in healthy living.

    Love, Margaret xx
