Create a story with 100 words

I just entered three stories into the Fundación César Egido Serrano Microfiction Contest. The deadline is midnight tonight (Spanish Peninsular time), so there’s still time to get your three (or fewer) stories in to the running. Each story can be no more than 100 words (not including an optional title). Stories may be written in Spanish, English, Arabic or Hebrew. Click here for a full list of the rules.

The first prize is $20,000, with three second-prizes of $2,000 each.

Taking into account the objective of the Foundation, which is that the word is the tool of coexistence between different cultures, religions and ideologies, the VII Edition of the competition is open, under the slogan:  ”DREAM, WRITE AND SHARE”.

This is the VII Edition of this international contest. In the last edition, 43,185 authors from 172 countries participated. So it’s competitive, but someone has to win that glittering prize. It could be you. Click on the link here for the online participation form.

Better hurry, though – the clock’s ticking steadily towards midnight in Madrid …

Good luck!
